Basketball Rules

e basics of basketball are very simple. There are two teams of five players each. There are two baskets on either end of the basketball court. A team scores by getting the ball into their opponent's basket. Each basket is worth from one to three points. There are two halves in the game. When the second half is over, the team with the most points, wins!
These are some rules that you might like to know. If you make five personal fouls, you cannot play for the rest of the game. Personal fouls include; pushing, elbowing, shoving, tripping, and kicking. A flagrant foul would be a foul that is rough, on purpose, or that is not necessary.
Another kind of foul would be a technical foul. A technical foul may include:
taking too many time-outs, using bad language, having bad sports-man ship, hanging on the basket, and many more.
You must never, EVER dribble, stop dribbling, and then start dribbling again.
That is called double-dribbling. Another thing that should not occur, is for you to have the ball in your hands, and then you take a few steps. This is called traveling. Double- dribbling and traveling are things that you do not want to happen.
